Remy Thompson Kidd
Academy of Dance & Gymnastics

Remy Thompson Kidd grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and began dancing at the age of 2. By age 7, she was competing regionally and nationally, earning numerous awards, titles, and special recognitions for her performances. Her passion for dance has only grown over the years, leading her to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Theater with a minor in Dance from Christopher Newport University.

In addition to her extensive dance background, Remy has performed in a variety of musical theatre productions, including Pippin (Fastrada and Assistant Choreographer), The Drowsy Chaperone (Kitty), and Oklahoma! (Dream Laurey/Ensemble). She made her Off-Off Broadway debut in Like The Wind at The Brick Theatre in 2021 and has performed multiple times at the infamous Feinstein’s 54 Below in New York City.
Remy is now proud to share her love of dance as an instructor at the nationally acclaimed Academy of Dance and Gymnastics.
This year, she is thrilled to be a part of Dancing with the Williamsburg Stars and can’t wait to get back on stage— competing for the top spot while raising money for wonderful local causes.
