Michael Lester grew up in New Kent officially, but considers himself a native to Williamsburg. He works as a physical therapy assistant at APEX Physical Therapy & Movement Center, which focuses on balance and movement disorders as well as other orthopedic and chronic injuries. He is also a coach for the APEX Rock Steady Boxing program, where coaches incorporate diverse and unique exercise programs to decrease the progression of Parkinson’s Disease. 


Michael has completed the Richmond Marathon twice, Happy Cat 50K, and Nashville 50 mile Ultra. In doing these races, he has raised money for the American Parkinson Disease Association and A Gift from Ashley and Ben Food Pantry.


When he isn't running or working out, Michael is on the golf course slicing another drive into the woods.
