As far as Chris Williams can recall, the last time he danced on stage was during an elementary school musical in his hometown of Gloucester. While he hasn’t been banned from the stage since, they each agreed that some time apart would be good for everyone.

Now, after watching the 2018 DWTWS competition and thinking, “I could never do that,” he’s giving it try anyway. While having no formal dance experience, he has burned up the dance floor at many weddings.

Chris has spent the past 10 years in the working for James City County’s Video division, channeling his inner A/V nerd on a daily basis. In his spare time, you can find Chris at a local brewery or trivia night (maybe both). When he isn’t out and about, he enjoys watching TV shows at home with his fiancée Alexa and their dog, Poe.

Chris believes his passion for local government comes from a desire to help those in need—if it requires dressing in Disney-themed attire and dancing on stage, so be it!
